Costume suggestions: formal evening attire would of course be appropriate at a gala Premiere – evening gowns and tuxedos or tails. Certainly bow ties would be the most appropriate. No Hollywood starlet would dare be seen in public at an event such as this unless she positively glittered. Because of the nature of the event, it is hard to imagine a costume that typifies the character not the event. What star, after all, would appear out after dark without the proper attire. Little has changed over the years and the ‘Oscars’ and ‘Logies’ of today are conducted in very much the same fashion – every attendee trying to outdo the other.‘ |
